I’ve felt bad for her because of the stabbing in the 90s which was so traumatic, but she had a solid comeback, and I’ve often wondered where she was now. This was a totally weird mention, in Bloomberg, of all places — trophy girlfriend for the 1%!
(Maybe not so gross; I keep thinking she’s my age, but then I remember she was my tennis hero in middle school, so clearly she’s older. Wikipedia says 38. OK, still kinda yuck.)
